Night drawlz
The Shade of Darkness
The wind blows
The Pine moans


And I,

I am alone


As the last rays of light
Sear the earth
Cooling itself in the
Moon shade


I sit,

And I am alone


Death perches high
In a tree
As Life flows in
Time around me


Night Life,
Life at night
Scurrying through the shadows


And I sit still,

And, still I am alone
